FAREWELL DEAR FRIENDS

In the month of August, within less than two weeks of each other, the world of wrestling suffered maybe it's heaviest loss in a long time. Two wonderful and talented superstars, one retired, one still active lost their lives. Lance Cade and Luna Vachon.
Lance Cade made a name for himself being trained by Shawn Michaels and rising in the ranks of the WWE to achieve tag team Champion status with partner Trevor Murdoch. After the duo split Cade went single and had a successful run as Chris Jericho's right hand man. Lance Cade may not have been a main stay in WWE but he did ply his trade elsewhere, most notably in Japan. In 2008, Cade returned to WWE, being dumped in its developmental ranks, from which he was released in 2009.
In August 2010 Lance Cade sadly passed away, a life watsed, another wrestling tragedy that will be marked down by naysayers of this business, yet remembered forever by us who turly care. Lance Cade may not have been in the big leagues of WWE during his stay with us, that will though not prevent us from remembering his tenure and his life spent trying to entertain us.
Rest In Peace Lance, you'll be missed.

Luna Vachon was perhaps the most volatile women's wrestler there had ever been. Making a name for herself as an in ring competitor, it was then perhaps a comedown to be lumbered as the valet to late and great Bam Bam Bigelow. Though a comedown for Luna, it will be the role for which she is always rememebred. Her head tatooed one side, her flowing locks the other, sporting a metal and black looking bra and panties, Luna would scream her lungs out as Bam Bam's main squueze.
Putting in a memorable fight at Wrestlemania 10 in a mixed tag match with Bam Bam, against Doink and Dink, Luna was truly loved by the Wrestling world.
A descendant of the Vacon family which produced wrestling royalty in Mad Dog Vachon, Luna was born to compete. Compete she did, and with gusto and pride.
Luna Vachon passed away in late August 2010 and left behind her many mourning fans and a legacy that will hard to surpass by any woman in the business today. Luna though left behind something more. And that was proof that women do belong in the ring, she was proof of this and real woman's wrestler.
It is with great sadness that The Wrestling Saviour cloese this part of history, yet will never forget these two wonderful athletes regardless of how long or how little time they spent with us.
Goodbye Luna, you will be always missed.

"Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart. You're spirit's live in the ring, and you're memories in our hearts."
